Flowing from the same late Qing Dynasty architectural screen, this companion panel continues the visual language of lacquer, gilding, and Confucian inscription while introducing its own distinct narrative emphasis. The central register presents a continuation of the Zhuzi Zhijia Gegian maxims, underscoring ancestral reverence and the transmission of classical learning through generations, rendered in raised gilt calligraphy. Above, finely carved lingzhi and floral vines spread in openwork relief, symbolizing prosperity and continuity. Below, cranes emerge among scrolling foliage, replacing earlier avian forms with a different auspicious motif. The surface retains a richly aged patina, where crackled lacquer and softened gilding preserve its ceremonial presence.
