Shown here is an exceptionally well-executed reproduction of a Chinese Neolithic pottery vessel inspired by the Majiayao culture’s Banshan/Machang phase (c. 3300–2000 BC), with the original example housed in a museum in Beijing. Its bulbous form, tapered base, and painted geometric motifs reflect the ceremonial artistry of early Chinese earthenware traditions. At World Dekor, this piece is accompanied by two additional Neolithic-inspired works — a shallow plate and a taller vessel displayed on a wooden stand — forming a striking collection that honors one of humanity’s earliest painted ceramic traditions.
