The Copper Houseware Collection
For centuries, hand-hammered copper vessels were indispensable in Turkish homes, serving as cookware, water pitchers, basins, and storage containers. As lightweight aluminum replaced copper in the twentieth century, many of these once-essential pieces were discarded or forgotten. When we saw them, we instantly knew their value and saw treasure in the trash.
Now carefully reclaimed and restored, they reveal the warmth of their hand-worked surfaces and the craftsmanship of their makers, transforming everyday household objects into enduring reminders of a rich cultural heritage.
