Rising in the monumental form of a traditional Thai temple gable, this architectural pediment embodies the spiritual geometry and ornate craftsmanship of Lanna and Rattanakosin design. Deeply carved from solid teak, the surface flows with Kranok motifs—flame-like vegetal forms that radiate outward in rhythmic symmetry, framing lotus buds and blossoming floral elements at the center. Layers of red-ochre lacquer and gilded surfaces enrich the relief, while inset mosaic glass fragments catch the light within its carved depths. The composition preserves both sacred architectural intent and the expressive artistry of Southeast Asian Buddhist visual culture.
